Thesis Description

The thesis explores the phenomenon of underrepresentation of female academic leaders in Vietnam by inviting participants to talk about their lived experiences using their chosen photos.

What’s the best thing you’ve watched on TV recently? 

BBC: Judi Dench: My passion for trees

A glass of something you’d recommend? 

A glass of VB when allowed will take me back to Melbourne 

​

What’s that you’re singing in the shower? 

I don’t sing in the shower but my son’s current song is “What makes you beautiful” and it sticks to my mind.

Soundtrack of your choice? 

Home OST

Best vacation you’ve been to? 

It wasn’t a vacation but my Vietnamese cooking demonstration in Coen in Cape York was a definate privilege .

​

Tell us something about yourself that would surprise us. 

When I returned to Australia in 2018, it was exactly 40 years after my mother first arrived in Canberra for a course in UC (CCAE), 28 years after she did her GradDip at UC. She passed away in 1995 but I found her three friends in Canberra after so many years.  

​

And what’s your movie genre of choice? 

Fantasy+Comedy+Adventure
