BGL HDR Doctorate Seminar

BGL HDR doctorate seminar was held on 1-3 Nov for students’ presentations which included introductory, 3 confirmation seminar, WIP and pre-submissions. There was a great turn-out with 25-30 on campus attendees and 20 online audience. Lunch was provided by Mizuna and it was a great event where students were able to socialise and network. 

 

Prof David Carter and Dr Sarah Maslen presented a master class on “engaging with your interviewees”.  Dr Jennifer Loh presented Milestones and student/supervisors responsibilities.  Alumnus Emerson Sanchez spoke about his PhD journey.

  • How do I book rooms 11B44 and 11B63 (the Moot Court)?
    Prior to emailing BGLOperations@canberra.edu.au, please check rooms availability on Web timetable 2021 through the staff portal. Please email BGLOperations@canberra.edu.au with below details which are required by the booking system: Number of people Booking description Booking type Booking contact email Once the room is booked by the Operations team, the requestor will receive an email with the confirmation of the booking. If a booking requires catering and foyer booking please email BGLOperations@canberra.edu.au
  • How to book other teaching spaces?
    Check rooms availability on Web timetable 2021 Login onto the Staff Portal – Applications – Web room booking 2021 Always select WRBStaff option and leave room allocation empty and it will show the rooms availability. When making the booking you will need the following information to insert: Type of booking Number of people Description of booking
  • How do I book a meeting room in Building 11?
