Years and Years, a great mix of futuristic fiction, political drama and critical social issues.

Any experimental mocktail with limes from the garden.

What’s that you’re singing in the shower?

My puppy’s name to keep him distracted from any naughtiness while not under supervision.

The soundtrack of your choice?

Ludovico Einaudi – gets me in the right headspace to write and work.

Best vacation you’ve been to?

A roundtrip through Scotland, what a great landscape and incredibly funny people if you can understand them which I struggled with a few times.

Tell us something about yourself that would surprise us.

I have two big tattoos and planning on my third one as a treat after submitting my PhD.

And what’s your movie genre of choice?

Dependent on the day, but Horror and Thrillers are a clear pass for me.
