According to national peak body, the Australian Network on Disability (AND):

  • The majority of complaints to the Australian Human Rights Commission are related to disability discrimination.

  • The majority of disabilities are not visible.

AND is working closely with the University of Canberra to ensure there are systems and processes in place to equitable include people with disability in the workplace. A foundation piece to this is our Disability Employee Network (DEN). The DEN is a new initiative welcoming fresh ideas and new participants. If you’re interested, please contact Diversity@canberra.edu.au or Robin.Ladwig@canberra.edu.au.

UC is a member of Diversity Council Australia. See all events and check the DCA website for further information.
