The Weekly Wrap caught up with Jane and here are her answers to our light-hearted questions.

Where do we find you this weekend?

Concreting - yep concreting. Building a shed and pergola has been a lockdown project and concreting the foundations for the shed was this weekend. Pergola completed; shed very close.

What’s the ideal start to a Sunday? Gentle start or a jolt?

In Spring and Summer, it's a jolt. I am usually up at 4am driving my daughters to Sydney for cricket (either for the ACT or NSW pathway programs). Lockdown has provided us with a break from the early starts, but we've been a little lost to be honest. In Winter, we treasure our sleep-ins.

What’s the best thing you’ve watched on TV recently?

Line of Duty.

A glass of something you’d recommend?

Vimto. You can also add gin - nice for the weekend especially during a hot summer.

Soundtrack of your choice?

Swingers. The title may raise eyebrows, however Swingers is a movie from 1996 with the LA club scene as the focus. The soundtrack is brilliant - live swing music from LA and some 'older' style music - graciously referred to by my daughters as 'boomer music'.

Best vacation you’ve been to?

It's a tie - Bermuda (overseas) and Lizard Island (Australia).

Tell us something about yourself that would surprise us.

I was a performer in the opening ceremony of the 1996 Atlanta Summer Olympic games and this year was our 15 year reunion (it was via zoom). I have a BA LLB, however I was originally enrolled in a Bachelor of Creative Arts and LLB - this might begin to explain why I popped up at the Olympics (there were 4 Australians in our cast of 164).

The ideal dinner menu?

Anything I don't cook.

Ideal dinner venue?

1882.
