The Year that Made Me: Kim Rubenstein, 1982

By Julian Morrow on Sunday Extra

If you ever have a question about what it means to be an Australian citizen, your rights and responsibilities, Professor Kim Rubenstein is the person to ask. An expert in constitutional and citizenship matters, she is also a scholar and champion of Australian women in public life. Kim Rubenstein’s next step is a tilt at federal parliament, as an independent in the Senate. She talks to Julian about her formative final year at school.
