Dr Bomikazi Zeka
Assistant Professor in Finance and Financial Planning
Canberra Business School
"I think there was a collective need for a space where Assistant Professors could gather, be honest about our challenges and share experiences. Through the APRN, we’ve started changing the narrative about what it means to be an Assistant Professor and we’ve embraced the idea that we are each other’s greatest resource. We’re thankful to Linda for pushing this agenda and for becoming a change agent in cultivating a culture of authenticity".
Dr Heba Batainah
Assistant Professor in Politics and International Relations
"The APRN provides a much needed collegial environment where Assistant Professors can come together to share their successes, challenges and aspirations. The impetus for the APRN and the discussions in the first few meetings proved that Assistant Professors in the Faculty were feeling disconnected and isolated and needed a forum to better connect with others in the Assistant Professor Programme. The APRN and the regular meetings offer a chance to connect in ways that allow for both structured and serendipitous encounters with other Assistant Professor at different stages".
